Last week, Maponics founder Darrin Clement spoke at Real Estate Connect NYC 2014, Inman’s flagship conference. Clement was a panelist for Data Crunching: The Promise of Predictive Data and Practical Applications.
Dan Adams, Maponics COO, reports that the buzz of the conference seemed to be “predictive data – for everything from identifying who is likely to sell a home, to property values, to commute times, to matching agents to properties they are likely to sell.”
Real Estate Connect NYC 2014 was successful again this year. Adams pointed out,
“Inman is a great way to connect with the businesses and people that we work with. The conference is excellent for sharing ideas and talking about challenges, and the environment around the conference is tremendous for knocking out a series of meetings and conversations to advance ideas and to conduct business. The people we met with were as focused on this as we were and that made the week very productive.”
In addition, in 2013, Inman announced that Clement is one of 23 mentors in this year’s Inman Incubator real estate startup accelerator program. The 13 companies comprising the Class of 2013, including Maponics’ customers RealScout and Zumper, are leading innovators within the industry. As Inman Incubator companies, they will receive mentoring, advising and promotions from the top minds in real estate, including $100,000 in promotional consideration from Inman News.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be an Inman Incubator mentor,” said Clement. “Maponics has a long history of supporting our customers who are in startup mode. It’s only through consistent innovation that all branches of our industry will flourish, and I’m delighted to be part of this ‘launchpad’ for today’s up-and-coming game-changers.”
