Peter joins the team with over 25 years of experience in building state-of-the-art cartographic database production and maintenance systems. Throughout his notable career, he has been a leader in pioneering and implementing progressive tools that feature advanced technologies such as distributed editing, transactional map updates, conflation, work flow management, and the use of feature level metadata to prevent regression. As a hands-on developer working with teams all over the world, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Maponics
In addition to holding key roles such as Global Director of Database Engineering for TomTom, Peter also held the position of Technical Fellow for TomTom’s Location-Based Services product unit where he spearheaded the effort to create a modern developer’s portal to expose TomTom’s cloud-enabled Location-Based Services platform.
